Hello everyone, Karen here checking in! I have an announcement to make...

As of the end of this month, (January 2012) this blog will no longer exist.!!!

We are moving the BLOG to our new website location, (you may have already seen it).

If you have not been to the new website please click here.. www.renoscrapbooking.com and bookmark this new page.

Here is a little preview of what you can expect at the new web site.

First of all the home page is so cute and interactive. You will notice there are banners on the left of the page that you can click on.... (usually there is a photo that scrolls in the white space, not sure why I couldn't capture that). 

So once you have clicked on one of the banners, for example the calendar banner this is what you will see...

the current month's calendar will display and you can hover over the class and a description will pop up. Below is a close up of that.

As you can see you can also scroll to the next month's calendar or the previous month.

Now here's my favorite part... The Blog!

Once you are on the Blog page you can click on the title and you will see the entire post content.

How cool is that!!!! I love that everything you need will be right in one place. So please head on over to www.renoscrapbooking.com and click around. The new website will be growning as new content is added over the coming months.

As CHA is approaching you won't want to miss out on any of the blog posts of all the fun new stuff so be sure to bookmark that web site.

I'm also excited to say that I will continue to be blogging on the new web site regularly. I'm so grateful to Laura that I can keep in touch with the store in this way. I miss you all terribly and wish I could come and hang out with you all in person!  And if you've been wondering about what I've been up to here's an update. I did a temp to hire job for about 6 weeks in November/December but it wasn't a good fit so I continued on my job search...but really how do you top working in this wonderful Scrapbook industry? Well I don't think you do...you just have to find a new job and re-create your professional life. I applied for a job in late October and with the holidays, 2 interviews and lots of follow up I landed a job I think will be perfect for me. It's only 15 min. from my home working in a small office at our church. I'm feeling really blessed and grateful right now and I start tomorrow. As for my crafty life I am still creating cards and posting on my personal blog, http://www.justletmeink.blogspot.com/  Actively participating in the Hero Art's Flicker group and scrapbooking with my L.A. girlfriends whenever I get a chance. (twice so far LOL).

Well I hope you are all enjoying 2012 thus far and I wish you all a Happy, Healthy, Creative filled year!

Coloring with Copics January

Hey everyone and Happy New Year!! So are you ready to have some fun? Our first Coloring With Copics class is next Monday, so are you ready to see the card?  Well, wait no more, cause here it is!! (just click on it to enlarge)

It features a Kraftin' Kimmie image, which will be available through Scrapbook Paradise! How exciting is that??!!! The papers used are We R Memory Keepers Love Struck matted with Bazzill cardstock in Bazzill Red and White. Copic colors used are:

Happy New Year

Well here we are, the last weekend of 2011. I hope it's been a scraptabulous year for you!

I wanted to be sure you had the last of the Holiday Hours

Saturday December 31st store hours are 10am-4pm

Sunday January 1st we are closed.

but if Scrapping is what you would like to do...

 we have a couple of crops scheduled.

Please call right away to check availability.

Friday night is our Cricut Crop

(you don't need a cricut to attend)

Saturday is a Mini Daytime Madness 10am-4pm.

 (sign up for Sunday and just leave your table set up!)

Sunday New Year's Day Crop 10-6pm (closed to the public)

We have enjoyed spending 2011 with you and

hope 2012 will bring you and your families

much health, happiness and prosperity!!!

It's almost Christmas!

 I don't know why but I always seem to be making a mad dash out the week, or even days before Christmas to get a last few things done. Well if your like me and you need one last thing for that Scrapper on your list I wanted to be sure you had our holiday hours handy. So here it is....

We will be open regular hours on Friday Dec 23rd, 10am-6pm.

Saturday and Sunday, Dec 24th and 25th we will be Closed!!!

So please be sure you have everything you need for those last minute gifts your making or that Gift Certificate everyone wants.

As for what's new, here are a few of the most recent arrivals.

This winter line from Pink Paislee is perfect for all your winter time photos...you know that snow is coming, eventually.

Now these two papers from the Christmas Eve Chowder from Jillibean Soup are just too cute. I love all those little penguins.

Coloring with Copics December 2011

Hey everyone!! I'm sure you are all in the midst of all your holiday preparations! I wanted to take a quick minute to post the card you'll be making in class on Dec 26th. For your card, I'm featuring another adorable image from Lili of the Valley.  The Copics used are listed below the picture. I'm still working on the stamped images you will be playing with during class. So I'm hoping to be able to get back and list the colors I used for them. If not, please forgive me this time as it's just that time of year, and I still have tons of things to get done before Sunday.  :0)

I wanted it to be a card you could use for anything, so I didn't put any kind of sentiment on it. Hope you like it, and can't wait to see you in class! To each and every one of you, I would like to thank you for a wonderful year!! You all have been so amazing and supportive, and I truly appreciate each and every one of you! From my family to yours, Happy Holidays!!!  Hugs!!!
